Biggin Hill, Kent
Biggin Hill is a suburban town in Kent. Biggin Hill remained a hamlet well into the 20th century, only seeing significant development from the 1920s. Biggin Hill Airport uses much of the land formerly used by RAF Biggin Hill, an aerodrome famous for its role during the Battle of Britain. St George’s RAF Chapel of Remembrance was built in 1951 to preserve the legacy of those who served and died at Biggin Hill. RAF Biggin Hill Museum shares the site. The town is within the council area of Bromley.
