Berwick Bridge, Northumberland
Berwick Bridge (aka the Old Bridge) is a 17th-century stone bridge across the River Tweed at Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland. The current bridge was built between 1611 and 1624. Prior to this, the crossing was served by a series of wooden bridges. It is 1,164ft long, 17ft wide and has 15 arches. It is built from sandstone quarried at Tweedmouth. It is within the council area of Northumberland.
