Berneray, Inverness-shire

Berneray (Scottish Gaelic: Beàrnaraigh) is one of the Bishop's Isles (aka Barra Isles), being the southernmost island of the Outer Hebrides, in Inverness-shire. Barra Head Lighthouse, on the island's southernmost headland, was designed by Robert Stevenson and light first exhibited in 1833. The island is within the council area of Na h-Eileanan an Iar CA.
