Ben Macdui, Aberdeenshire / Banffshire

Ben Macdui (Scottish Gaelic: Beinn MacDuibh) is a mountain (4,295 ft) on the southern edge of the Cairn Gorm plateau, on the boundary between Aberdeenshire and Banffshire. It is the county top of both counties. It is the second highest mountain in Great Britain, the highest in the Cairngorms. It is within the council area of Aberdeenshire and Moray.
