Bellaghy Bawn, Londonderry

Bellaghy Bawn is a 17th-century fortified house and bawn, located in the village of Bellaghy, County Londonderry. The bawn, including two towers and two houses, was built in 1619 by Baptist Jones, since when it has been amended and added to in various styles. The site survives today as three bawn walls, one round tower and the rampart, along with an 18th-century house within the bawn. The monument is in the care of the Department for Communities. The monument is within the council area of Mid Ulster.
