Belfast Harbour Office, Antrim

Belfast Harbour Office is a mid 19th-century Italianate Palazzo style Harbour Office, overlooking Donegall Quay in Belfast, County Antrim. It is within the townland of Town Parks, in the civil parish of Shankill. It was constructed between 1852 and 1854 to designs by George Smith. The south entrance front and west wing were added in 1895 to designs by W.H. Lynn. The building is one of the finest set pieces in the city, defined by fine detailing throughout. Of particular interest are the hand-painted stained glass windows, defining the ideals of the Victorian industrial era in Belfast. It is within the council area of Belfast.
