Battle Field, Northumberland
Battle Field is an urban locality in Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland. It is located immediately east and to the north of the Quayside and bounded on the east by Ouse Burn. It is said that the name derives from the 19th century, when dog fights were held here. St Ann's Church was built in 1768. Battle Field is within the council area of Newcastle upon Tyne.
