Bathgate, West Lothian
Bathgate is a town in West Lothian. By the Victorian era, Bathgate grew to become an industrial and mining centre, principally associated with the coal and shale oil industries. Today, Bathgate serves as a regional commuter town within the Central Belt. The Regal is an Art Deco-style former cinema, now a community theatre. The town is within the council area of West Lothian.
