Batham Gate is the mediæval name for a Roman road which ran south-west from Templebrough on the River Don in Yorkshire to Brough-on-Noe (Latin Navio) and the spa town of Buxton (Latin Aquae Arnemetiae) in Derbyshire. A section of the route forms part of the B6049 between Brough and Bradwell, in Derbyshire. This section of the road is within the council area of Derbyshire Dales (Derbyshire).
