Barry Dock, Glamorgan

Barry Dock is a port facility in Barry, Glamorgan. It was opened in 1889 by David Davies and John Cory. The docks occupy the former sound between Barry Island and the mainland. The area around the first dock, now called The Waterfront, has been redeveloped for residential and commercial use. The second dock is still active. It is within the council area of The Vale of Glamorgan.
