Barons Court, Middlesex

Barons Court is an urban area in the north of Fulham, Middlesex. The area was first developed by Sir William Palliser to the east of Hammersmith Cemetery after it opened in 1869. Barons Court station opened in 1905 , though the area was not fully developed until the 1930s. The Queen's Club, formed in 1886, is best known for the pre-Wimbledon men's tennis championships held every June. The area is within the council area of Hammersmith and Fulham.
