Bardolfeston, Dorset
Bardolfeston is a deserted mediæval village near Puddletown, Dorset. The earthworks include a distinctive hollow way lined with up to 27 buildings including the site of the church. The village was in decline from the 14th century and was deserted by the 17th century. It is within the council area of Dorset.
