Barden Tower, Yorkshire

Barden Tower is a ruined 15th-century hunting lodge in the civil parish of Barden, Yorkshire, in the West Riding. A lodge had been located in the Forest of Barden since early Plantagenet times, but it was rebuilt in stone around 1485–1490 by Henry Clifford. The tower was renovated by Lady Anne Clifford in the 1650s, but had fallen into ruin by the 19th century. It is within the council area of North Yorkshire.
