Banford House, Down
Banford House is a Georgian country house near the village of Tullynish, County Down. It is within the townland of Knocknagore, in the civil parish of Tullylish. The house, built around 1780 by Thomas Nicholson, is one of several in the district built on the success of the local linen industry. It retains views over the former bleach green and chimney of Tullylish Bleachworks with which it was associated. The house is within the council area of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon.
