Balvaird Castle is a tower house near Newton of Balcanquhal, Fife. Balvaird Castle is a fine example of a traditional late-mediæval Scottish tower house, built around the year 1500 for Sir Andrew Murray. It is noted for its refined architectural detail. It is within the council area of Perth and Kinross.
