Balsall Heath, Worcestershire
Balsall Heath is an urban area in Birmingham, lying east of the River Rea in Worcestershire. Balsall Heath was largely agricultural and park land between Moseley and Birmingham until the 1850s, when expansion along the Moseley Road joined the two. Balsall Heath became part of the Birmingham municipal area in 1891. It is within the council area of Birmingham.
