Ballyworkan, Armagh
Ballyworkan is a village in County Armagh. It is within the townland of Ballyworkan, in the civil parish of Drumcree. The village has long lain spread along the north-south road (now the B78) through Ballyworkan townland. The northern part of the village has seen substantial suburban development since the late 20th century, effectively becoming an outer suburb of Portadown. Ballyworkan Orange Hall dates from 1923. The Pepper Memorial Hall dates from 1931. The area is within the council area of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon.
