Ballyskeagh, Down

Ballyskeagh is a small village in County Down. It is within the townland of Ballyskeagh, in the civil parish of Lambeg. Ballyskeagh Bridge, a sandstone arched bridge over the Lagan Canal, was built between 1760-1779 by Thomas Omer, engineer in charge of the canal. Lisburn Distillery F.C. is based in the village. The village is within the council area of Lisburn and Castlereagh.
