Ballymoyer (aka Ballymyre) is a small village, lying on the Creggan River in County Armagh. It is within the townlands of Ballintemple and Knockavannon, in the civil parish of Ballymyre. Ballymoyer Old Church was completed in 1775 but fell into ruins after the completion of St Luke's Church in 1822. The nearby glebe-house was built in 1825. Ballymoyer House, a Georgian mansion, was demolished after World War II though much of the estate is open to the public. The village is within the council area of Newry, Mourne and Down.
