Ballyloughan, Antrim
Ballyloughan is an urban area in the north of Ballymena, County Antrim. It is within the townland of Ballyloughan, in the civil parish of Ahoghill. The townland of Ballyloughan remained largely rural until the start of the 20th century, since when the southern part of it has been developed with suburban housing, effectively becoming a northern suburb of Ballymena. Ballyloughan Presbyterian Church opened in 1977. The area is within the council area of Mid and East Antrim.
