Balfour Castle, Angus

Balfour Castle is a former Baronial mansion at Balfour Mains, Angus. Built in the 16th century, it has been largely demolished except for a six-storey circular tower. A farm house was built incorporating some of the ruins around 1845. The castle is within the council area of Angus.
