Baffins, Hampshire

Baffins is a former hamlet that is now an urban area in Portsmouth, Hampshire. It lies on the eastern side of Portsea Island. The area remained rural well into the 209th century since when it has ben developed for housing. Baffins Pond remains as do large areas of open space between the site of the former hamlet and the sea. It is within the council area of Portsmouth.
