Avebury Trusloe, Wiltshire
Avebury Trusloe is a hamlet adjacent to the village of Avebury, Wiltshire. Though sharing St James's Church, Avebury Trusloe grew around a separate manor from that of Avebury. The manor was held by Cirencester Abbey and bought by Joan Trusloe in 1563. Around 1628 the estate, by then known as Avebury Trusloe, was held by William Dunche. The manor house is extant. The hamlet saw significant 20th-century development. It is within the council area of Wiltshire.
