Ashdown House, Berkshire

Ashdown House is Dutch-style 17th-century house perched on the Berkshire Downs near Ashbury, Berkshire. The house is famous for its association with Elizabeth of Bohemia ('The Winter Queen'), Charles I's sister, to whom the house was dedicated. It is in the care of the National Trust. It is within the council area of Vale of White Horse (Oxfordshire).
