Ascott House, Buckinghamshire
Ascott House (often known just as Ascott) is a country house and estate near Wing, Buckinghamshire. Ascott House was originally a farm house, built in the reign of James I and known as "Ascott Hall". In 1873 it was acquired by Baron Mayer Amschel de Rothschild. He gave the house to his nephew Leopold de Rothschild, who transformed it over into a substantial yet informal country house. It is in the care of the National Trust. It is within the council area of Buckinghamshire.
