Arundel Cathedral, Sussex
Arundel Cathedral (formally the Cathedral Church of Our Lady and St Philip Howard) is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Arundel, Sussex. It is the seat of the Bishop of Arundel and Brighton. It was designed by Joseph Hansom in the French Gothic style and constructed from 1870-73. It was commissioned by Henry Fitzalan-Howard, 15th Duke of Norfolk, as a counterpoint to Arundel Castle. It became a cathedral in 1965. It is within the council area of Arundel (West Sussex).
