Armscote, Warwickshire
Armscote is a small village in Warwickshire. George Fox, the famous Quaker founder, preached here in 1673 and was then arrested. The barn where the event took place was demolished in 1680 to make way for a stone meeting house which still stands. The village is within the council area of Stratford-on-Avon (Warwickshire).
