Antrim Round Tower, Antrim

Antrim Round Tower is a 10th-century stone tower in the town of Antrim, County Antrim. The tower, which is 92ft high and 18ft in diameter, was the bell tower of an early Christian monastery, burned in 1147, of which it is the only surviving monument. The monument is in the care of the Department for Communities. The monument is within the council area of Antrim and Newtownabbey.
