Anniesland, Renfrewshire / Lanarkshire

Anniesland is a district in the West End of Glasgow. It situated north of the River Clyde, partly in Renfrewshire and partly in Lanarkshire. Originally a farm owned by the Jordanhill estate, it was slowly sold-off during the late Victorian era as Glasgow quickly expanded. It is within the council area of City of Glasgow.
