Annick Lodge, Ayrshire

Annick Lodge is a Georgian country house and estate situated on the banks of the Annick Water near the village of Perceton, Ayrshire. It was built around 1790 for Captain Alexander Montgomerie, brother of the 12th Earl of Eglinton. It sits on the site of the 15th-century Pearston Hall. The grand facade is decorated with a porch supported by Corinthian pillars, sculptured urns, and heraldic shields. The estate includes a 17th-century gate piers, a Gothic-style footbridge with timber tracery, and a walled garden. The house and estate are within the council area of North Ayrshire.
