Annesborough, Armagh

Annesborough is a suburban village in County Armagh. It is within the townland of Drumnakelly, in the civil parish of Seagoe. Drumnakelly townland remained mostly rural until the mid 20th century. From the 1960s, the Annesborough Industrial Esate was developed, named from Annesborough House within the townland. Suburban housing was developed to the south of the industrial estate from the late 20th century, the whole area usually being known as Annesborough rather than the townland name. It is sometimes considered an outer suburb of Lurgan. The village is within the council area of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon.
