Amersham on the Hill is an urban area in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. Amersham on the Hill developed from the end of the 19th century around Amersham underground station (1892), to the north of Amersham Old Town. Amersham-on-the-Hill has some fine Arts & Crafts buildings, mainly by architect John Harold Kennard, such as The Avenue and the landmark, Oakfield Corner. The area is within the council area of Buckinghamshire.
