Alva, Clackmannanshire

Alva is a small town, lying at the foot of the Ochil Hills in Clackmannanshire. During the Industrial Revolution, Alva developed as a textile manufacturing centre. The Famous Alva Games date back to the 1850s, one of the oldest surviving Highland Games. The town is within the council area of Clackmannanshire.
