Alsager, Cheshire

Alsager is a small town in Cheshire. Alsager was recorded as 'Eleacier' in Domesday. It was a small farming village until, following the opening of Alsager Railway station in 1848, it became a popular residence for pottery works managers from the nearby Federation of Six Towns. The town is within the council area of Cheshire East.
