MenuAlderstone House, Midlothian
Alderstone House is an extended 16th-century tower house in Livingston, Midlothian. The house began as a 16th-century rectangular tower. In 1626, it was transformed into a more palatial L-plan residence by Patrick Kinloch. It was further expanded in the 18th and 19th centuries. In 2010 it had a further modern extension added as part of a conversion to office space. It is within the council area of West Lothian.
