Aldershot, Hampshire

Aldershot is a town in the north-east corner of Hampshire. The town is famous for its connections with the British Army, developing as a barracks town from the time of the Crimean War. The Church of St Michael the Archangel dates from the 12th century. Aldershot Town Hall was designed by Charles E. Hutchinson in the Edwardian Baroque style and completed in 1904. The town is within the council area of Rushmoor (Hampshire).
