Albrighton is a small village in Shropshire, four miles north-west of Shrewsbury. The village is listed in Domesday as 'Etbritone' ("Eadbeorht’s village"). The church of St John The Baptist was built in 1840, though in the early Norman style. The village is within the council area of Shropshire.
