Akeman Street, Buckinghamshire

Akeman Street is a Roman road which linked Watling Street just north of Verulamium (near St Albans) in Hertfordshire with the Fosse Way at Corinium Dobunnorum (Cirencester) in Gloucestershire, part of the route crossing Buckinghamshire. The road to the east of Aylesbury forms part of the modern A41. This stretch is within the council area of Buckinghamshire.
