Adelphi, Middlesex
Adelphi is a small urban area in Westminster, Middlesex, forming part of the West End of London. Adelphi lies between the Strand and the Victoria Embankment. The area is named from the Adelphi Buildings, neoclassical terraced houses constructed by the Adams Brother from 1768-1772. Many of the building were replaced by the Art Deco New Adelphi Building in 1930. Adelphi is within the council area of Westminster.
