Abertillery, Monmouthshire
Abertillery is a town in the Ebbw Fach valley in eastern Monmouthshire. The population was traditionally employed in the numerous coal-mines, ironworks and tin-plate works, now defunct. Abertillery's traditional-style town centre mainly developed in the late 19th century and as such has some interesting Victorian architecture. The town is within the council area of Blaenau Gwent.
