Abbott's Barton Farmhouse, Hampshire
Abbott's Barton Farmhouse is a late 15th-century timber-framed farmhouse in the Abbotts Barton area of Winchester, Hampshire. The Barton (farmstead) was the home or ‘grange’ farm of Hyde Abbey Monastery. While the majority of the house dates to 17th century, its timber-frame is late 15th century, the chimney stacks possibly surviving from the 13th century. It is within the council area of Winchester (Hampshire).
