Abbot's Wall, Kent

Abbot's Wall is a mediæval earthwork embankment on Minster Marshes, Kent. In the 12th Century Augustian Monks tried to manage the Wantsum Channel. Ultimately, their plans failed. This wall is one of two remaining walls (the other being Monk's Wall) of their plans. It is within the council area of Thanet (Kent).
