Abbey Mill, Essex

Abbey Mill is a 17th-century timber-framed, weatherboarded water mill near Coggeshall, Essex. The mill remained in commercial use by the Appleford family until 1960, having been adapted for steam around 1857. It is within the council area of Braintree (Essex).
