Y Fenni, Monmouthshire   (Town)

Y Fenni (Abergavenny) is a market town in Monmouthshire, Situated at the confluence of a tributary stream, the Gavenny, and the River Usk. The town is situated just south of the Black Mountains, part of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Formerly a mediæval walled town, it was originally a Roman fort, Gobannium.
